About this file

This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for inclinometer sensor readings and site evaluations at Honda Ridge and CDT Access Roads on Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB), California. The contract requires a licensed geotechnical engineer or engineering geologist to perform readings on 13 existing inclinometer sensors, with two sets of readings scheduled during the base contract year (September-October 2025 and April-May 2026), and subsequent annual readings during four option years. The sensors range from 27 to 58 feet in depth and are located on critical access roads supporting mission-critical infrastructure for various government and commercial space agencies.

The contractor must provide detailed PDF reports within 14 days of completing sensor readings, including data analysis, findings, conclusions, and recommendations. The contract is a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) type, with strict performance thresholds allowing no more than three write-ups per task for unsatisfactory reports. The work involves taking readings in north-south and east-west directions at two-foot intervals, comparing against historical data, and ensuring consistent sensor reading equipment to minimize calibration errors. Contractor personnel must comply with base security requirements, wear company identification, and follow specific access and safety protocols at Vandenberg Space Force Base.
