METES AND BOUND SURVEY/SCOPE OF WORK

1. BACKGROUND: A proposed land swap is being considered between the City of San
Angelo and the Government. A Metes and Bounds Surveys are required for the real estate instrument.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES/SCOPE OF WORK:
a. Government: Shall provide funding, specific project requirements, approvals, and any necessary documentation available.
b. Contracted surveyor shall take all the necessary steps to complete the Metes and
Bounds Survey for the parcels of land identified in the drawing attachment A Location
Map, attachment B (1 of 3), (2 of 3), (3 of 3) and attachment C (1 of 2) (2 of 2). The work shall include the entire process required for a complete Metes and Bounds Survey of the identified parcels of land (2 land parcels required with one of the two being subdivided) including initial setup, research, field work, monumentation, field notes, plat prep, review, approval, notices, mobilization, travel and final legal metes and bounds documents sealed by a licensed Texas Surveyor.
c. Provide (3) original sealed documents for each of the two sites.
3. PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: Start date will be the signed Notice to Proceed with a completion date no later than 90 calendar days after the notice to proceed date.
Working hours for the survey team will be between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
excluding Saturdays, Sundays, and Federal holidays, and AETC Family Days. The Contractor shall submit the work schedule to the Contracting Officer 7 days prior to the start of work.
AETC family days for 2022 are 27 May 2022, 01 July 2022, 02 Sept 2022, 25 Nov 2022, 23
Dec 2022 and 30 Dec 2022.
4. WORK AREA ACCESS: The Contractor shall coordinate with the Contracting Officer for work area access.

7. LABOR REQUIREMENTS: All companies who conduct business within the state of Texas must, in accordance with Texas Worker’s Compensation laws (Texas House Bill 62), have an approved company safety policy and an Accident Prevention Plan. The plan, approved by the
Texas Worker’s Compensation Commission (TWCC), shall be submitted For Information
Only (FIO) prior to starting survey work.
a. Resolution of Department of Labor citations for violations of Occupational Safety and
Health Standards is a Contractor responsibility and shall provide for no basis of a claim against the Government.
8. TOILET FACILITIES: There are no toilet facilities available for Contractor use.
