Central Louisiana Refuge Complex

Land Level Units 9 and 10- (120 Acres)

Scope of Work

Location.

Grand Cote NWR (Central Louisiana Refuge Complex) is located about 10 miles west of the city of Marksville and 20 miles southeast of the city of Alexandria.

Background.

Currently Grand Cote NWR has 258 acres in rice production to assist in achieving our required Ducks Energy Days (DED’s) stepped down from the North America Waterfowl Management Plan for wintering waterfowl.

The existing asset Rice Field Units (10020231) encompass these two rice units (9 and 10) which require land leveling in order to improve water management , rice production, and drainage of units at a zero elevation grade.

Work Required.

The contractor will provide all equipment and labor and mobilization, and equipment to level these two waterfowl units and create needed interior field levees where denoted within the survey data.

Attachment-2 is the survey data for farm units (Units 9=64 acers and 10=56 acers)- (120 acres).

Attachment-3 is the area Map.

Period of performance

150 calendar days from date of award
