Statement of Work
For
6th/927th CDDAR Cargo Trailer
MacDill AFB, Tampa Fl
STATEMENT OF WORK
FOR
PURCHASE OF MISSION CARGO
TRAILER AT MACDILL AFB, FL
SECTION 1.0 DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES/GENERAL INFORMATION
1.1 SCOPE OF WORK (SOW)
1.1.1 The contractor will provide an 8.5 x 48GN CARGO TRAILER or equal item that has a 12,000 pound load capacity. Overall dimensions for the trailer are 48.5 ft long x 8.25 ft wide x
8.5 ft in height. This trailer will be setup so that the 6th/927th MXS Crashed, Damaged, Disabled Aircraft Recovery Team (CDDAR) will be able to perform aircraft recovery operations at multiple locations when needed. The contractor will be responsible for manufacturing the trailer with everything needed according to the purchase order and rendering (minus tools), to be able to put into service.
1.2 SPECIFIC TASKS:
1.2.1 Contractor shall provide the trailer with the capability to tow by both 5th wheel adapter and semi.Tri-axles with 235-80-R16 aluminum wheels on three 7000# braked torsion axles. In addition, a 16” 235 radial spare tire will be provided and on spare tire rack mounted on the passenger interior side.
1.2.2 On the passenger side of the trailer the contractor shall provide three steel shelves 48”w x 48h” x 24”d, with a wood counter top, two bone saw racks, four racks for backpack style liquid sprayers, and a spare tire for the trailer. On the driver’s side of the trailer the contractor will install six each 96”w x 24”d x 4”h shelving units, shovel wall storage racks, ladder storage area, three chainsaw racks, and PPE storage. In addition, on the passenger side if the trailer, the contractor shall install a 32”x72” side door with locking bar, 48”x80” side roll up door, along with A rear ramp door with an aluminum ramp flap, aluminum grab handles and two locking hasps with locking bars will be installed at the rear of the trailer. The contractor shall also fabricate a mounting system for the hose and rope storage. Finally, the contractor will fabricate on the forward bulkhead eight 12”w x 14”h x 24”d storage bins with two overhead cabinets with doors above the storage bins with a 48” LED light under the overhead cabinets. The area between the storage bins will be open with a wooden countertop.
1.2.3 The contractor shall provide a 7K generator mounted in the front exterior with an undercarriage fuel tank of 30 gallon capacity, and a remote.
1.2.4 The contractor shall install three manually operated air vents on the roof of the trailer. In addition the contractor will pre-wire the trailer for a future 13.5K BTU A/C Unit.
1.2.5 The contractor will provide 2 110 volt GFI exterior and 6 interior receptacles, two 110 volt interior wall switches, and five each 4’ LED lights installed on the ceiling. Along with this the contractor will install four recessed 500 watt quarts lights in the upper corners of the exterior of the trailer on the driver and passenger sides.
SECTION 2.0 SERVICES SUMMARY
All work, contractor is responsible for accomplishing all agreed upon items in accordance with this SOW and be completed within the specified date agreed upon by both parties. Request the trailer be completed and delivered in 120-180 days.
