About this file

This is a Salient Characteristics document (Special Order S24186) specifying requirements for turbidity sensors and associated equipment. The document details requirements for 5 turbidity sensors with digital probes, stainless steel housing, and built-in wipers. The sensors must have measurement ranges of 5000, 10000 & 30000 NTU, operate on 12 VDC power, be SDI-12 compatible, and include male SubConn connectors and accessories.

The document also specifies cable assembly requirements for various lengths (2 units of 50 feet, 1 unit each of 150 feet, 200 feet, and 245 feet), all requiring female SubConn bulkhead marine connectors. Additionally, 2 PC interface units are required with 24-inch SubConn connector cables, 120 VAC power supply, and USB cable with software. This equipment is being procured by the USGS Water Science Center in Sacramento, CA, with delivery required within 30 days after receipt of order. The procurement is a small business set-aside under NAICS code 334513, with quotes due December 12, 2024, at 9:00 AM ES and an anticipated award date of December 31, 2024.
