About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the Roby Tower Site Improvements project for the USDA Forest Service, Mark Twain National Forest. The project involves comprehensive renovation of multiple buildings at the Roby Tower site, including siding, roofing, soffit/fascia, and gutter replacements across five distinct structures: the New Warehouse, Old Warehouse, Storage Building, Oil House, and Water Tower.
The scope of work includes removing and replacing existing materials with new fiber-cement siding, asphalt shingles, underlayment, flashings, gutters, and associated components. Base bid items cover siding and roof replacements for each building, with specific dimensions and roof slopes detailed for each structure. Optional bid items allow for additional work such as replacing rotted decking, installing new gutters, and painting soffit and fascia. The project is set aside for small businesses, requires daily reporting to the Contracting Officer's Representative, and has a 30-calendar day completion timeframe. Contractors must follow detailed specifications for material selection, installation techniques, and quality assurance.
