About this file

This document provides details for a federal contract opportunity with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct the MASS-C Study. The CDC requires one or more new contracts for a repeat, cross-sectional, serologic survey to estimate the proportion of people infected with or vaccinated for SARS-CoV-2 nationally and by geographic location, demographic subgroup, and over time. Offerors would identify existing residual blood specimens from commercial laboratories in all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico to collect on a monthly basis and test for SARS-CoV-2 antibodies. Testing would include qualitative anti-nucleocapsid and quantitative anti-spike IgG assays, with reflex microneutralization testing for specimens positive by the qualitative assay. Offerors would provide the CDC with aggregate data reports every 8 weeks and a final report at the end of the base 11-month period and optional 12-month period. Questions are due by January 6, 2022 and proposals are due January 24, 2022.
