About this file

This document contains a request for proposal for a Centers for Disease Control and Prevention contract. The CDC requires contracts for a repeat serologic survey using convenience samples collected from commercial laboratories across the United States to estimate the proportion of people infected with or vaccinated for SARS-CoV-2 over time nationally and by location and demographic. Offerors will identify excess blood specimens from non-COVID diagnostic or antibody testing from all 50 states, Washington D.C. and Puerto Rico for monthly collection and testing for qualitative SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid antibodies and quantitative IgG anti-spike antibodies. Offerors will collect and test specimens using CLIA-approved or EUA-approved ELISA and COVID-19 IgG and/or IgM serological assays and reflexive microneutralization testing for seropositive specimens. Offerors will provide the CDC with data reports after every 8-week collection period and a final report at the end of the 11-month base period contract with a 12-month option. Questions are due by January 6, 2022 and proposals are due January 24, 2022 to the CDC Office of Acquisition Services.
