About this file

This document contains a pre-solicitation synopsis and proposal template for laboratory testing services. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to competitively award firm fixed-price contracts valued at approximately eleven months with an optional twelve month extension. The purpose is to determine U.S. SARS-CoV-2 seroprevalence by region, age, and time through testing of de-identified residual blood specimens provided by offerors. Technical evaluation factors will be more important than price. Multiple awards are anticipated to achieve coverage of all 50 states, Washington D.C., and Puerto Rico. The solicitation is expected to publish within 7-15 days with proposals due 20-30 days after release. Offerors should regularly monitor the website for any amendments. The template requests information on testing capabilities, available specimen quantities and locations from offerors.
