About this file
This document is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the FR 2159 Soil and Water Improvement Project located in the Potosi-Fredericktown Ranger District of Mark Twain National Forest in Madison County, Missouri. The project involves road improvement work on FR 2159 spanning 1.00 miles, which includes comprehensive road reconditioning activities such as reshaping drainage dips, cleaning outlet ditches, mowing and limbing roadway vegetation, and road surface improvements.
Specific work details include maintaining the existing 12-foot subgrade and 10-foot road base, clearing vegetation to a 14-foot height, and spreading 2-inch base crushed aggregate across the road width. The work involves multiple types of drainage dip reshaping (A-type and B-type), placing 3-4 inches of clean crushed aggregate in these dips as directed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), and cleaning various outlet ditches. The project concludes with maintaining a turnaround area and placing 30 tons of 2-inch base crushed aggregate on that area, with all road improvement work ending at the 0.95 milepost.
