STATEMENT OF WORK

Septic Pumping

Pinnacles National Park

BACKGROUND

Pinnacles National Park (Pinnacles) has a requirement for septic pumping and disposal services in Pinnacles Campground to accommodate the demand on the Recreational Vehicle (RV) dump station. An ongoing septic system deficiency has caused the use of the septic tank as a holding tank that needs to be pumped out frequently. The RV dump station is used by Park visitors, Park staff, volunteers, and employees of assisting agencies.

SCOPE

Provide septic pumping service as needed, up to ten times per month for the public RV dump station in Pinnacles National Park. The septic pumping frequency and duration requirements will be specified by the National Park Service. A regular schedule, i.e., Monday-Wednesday-Friday will be coordinated by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). In addition to regularly scheduled services, the Contractor may be required to provide service with twenty-four-hour notice. The RV dump station has a 1,500-gallon tank, and this tank will have to be pumped out completely each time.

PROJECT REQUIREMENTS

Follow all federal, state, and local ordinances and regulations for septic pumping and disposal.

All work shall be limited to the working hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm unless otherwise approved by the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). No work shall occur on National Park Service holidays or weekends without prior approval.
