About this file

This is a draft Performance Work Statement/Statement of Work for AEGIS Radio Communication Systems supporting the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF). The PWS outlines requirements for engineering, technical, logistics, integration, training and testing support services to deliver fully-integrated C4I electronic radio communication systems for shipboard installation on Navy vessels including AEGIS destroyers, cruisers, amphibious assault ships, and aircraft carriers.

The PWS details specific requirements including: engineering support for RCS design, documentation and testing; logistics support for equipment procurement and inventory management; integration engineering services; comprehensive training programs consisting of three phases of familiarization training; and production requirements covering assembly, testing and verification of approximately 15 RCS units. The work requires both on-site (36%) and off-site (64%) performance at NAWCAD WOLF in St. Inigoes, MD, with contractors needing Top Secret facility clearance and Secret safeguarding capability. Key personnel requirements are specified for various engineering, technical and management roles, with detailed education and experience requirements provided for each labor category. The PWS also outlines specific telework eligibility for different labor categories and includes provisions for hybrid and remote work arrangements for certain positions.
