About this file
This document is a Schedule of Items for a construction contract to replace a damaged railing section at Lake Vesuvius boardwalk in Lawrence County, Ohio, managed by the USDA Forest Service. The project involves three primary line items: mobilization, fabrication of a 31-foot railing section according to specifications, and railing installation, with a performance period of 30 days after contract award.
Key contract details include a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) structure requiring contractors to be actively registered in sam.gov, compliance with Davis-Bacon construction wage reporting requirements, and no pre-quote site visit. Contractors are advised to contact Nicholas Mossbarger to inspect the site before quoting. The project requires a precise replacement of an existing handrail section, matching the original design, materials, finish, and structural integrity, with all materials and labor to be provided by the contractor.
