About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document for a federal contract opportunity involving furniture and electronic appliances installation at Bunch Hall Dorm B221.
The project encompasses furnishing 68 identical rooms across a three-story building with no elevators. The building will remain unoccupied during installation, and no existing items require disassembly. Installation must occur Monday through Friday between 0730 and 1700 CST, with a 10 duty day completion deadline. Extensions require approval from the MHO Point of Contact. The building is currently under active construction, and the awardee must coordinate with the requiring activity after award notification to determine the project start date. Products will include wall-mounted items into sheet rock walls. A 53-foot trailer has unencumbered access for delivery, and on-site storage is available approximately three-quarters of a mile from the building. If trash disposal is necessary during installation, a dumpster may be placed reasonably close to Building 221. Installers will access the building via stairs only, as elevators are not available. This RFQ is an all-or-none requirement, meaning offerors must quote on all CLINs and all items with no partial bidding allowed. Open-market bidding is permitted for the items required.
