About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details flooring replacement projects for five National Park Service residences in Yosemite National Park. The scope covers removal and replacement of flooring across five locations: Wawona (1,964 sq ft), Hodgdon (1,222 sq ft), El Portal (861 sq ft), and Yosemite Valley (1,542 sq ft). Common tasks include removing existing carpet, padding, and tack strips, repairing or replacing underlayment, installing luxury vinyl tile (LVT) flooring and new carpet, and reinstalling furnishings.

Each project requires the contractor to provide labor, equipment, and materials, with work performed under a single contract. Specific requirements include removing and storing furniture, appliances, and fixtures, repairing any damaged surfaces, and disposing of debris responsibly. Work is restricted to weekdays from 7:00am to 4:30pm, with considerations for seasonal road closures and winter weather. Additional site-specific requirements include bear and animal safety protocols, with food items prohibited in work vehicles and strict disposal guidelines.
