Any information (classified or unclassified) pertaining to this contract shall not be released for public dissemination except as provided by the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) or unless it has been approved for public release by appropriate U.S. Government authority. If any difficulty is encountered in applying this guidance or if any other contributing factor indicates a need for changes in this guidance, the contractor is authorized and encouraged to provide recommended changes; to challenge the guidance or the classification assigned to any information or material furnished or generated under this contract; and to submit any questions for interpretation of this guidance to the official identified below. text: Item 10.j: Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) – CUI information shall be managed and safeguarded IAW DoDM 5200.01, Vol 4.

Item 11.a: Contract performance is restricted to the locations identified in item 8a. The highest level of security clearance required for contract performance is Secret. Using activities will provide security classification guidance for performance of this contract. The government will oversee the handling and storage of classified information in support of this contract. The government will provide storage capability for all classified material required for this contract. All classified information shall be returned to the government upon termination of the contract.

Item 11.j: Contractor will follow base and unit Operations Security guidance (SOPs, OIs, etc) for the locations identified in item 8a. A copy of the local guidance will be provided to the contractor.

Item 11.l: Controlled Unclassified Information will be managed and safeguarded IAW DoDM 5200.01, Vol 4.Item Item 12: Contractor is to submit requests through the Contracting Officer for OPSEC Program Manager review and public release authorization. The Contracting Officer will provide contractor with written approval/disapproval. (T-1) Information requiring AF or DoD–level review will be reviewed by the unit’s OPSEC Program Manager or Coordinator who will in-turn forward to the entry-level public affairs office through the AFIMSC Public Affairs Office to the Secretary of the Air Force, Office of Public Affairs, Security and Review Division (SAF/PAX), 1690 Air Force Pentagon, Washington DC 20330-1690.

This solicitation DD254 meets requirements of AFI 16-1406, Air Force Industrial Security Program and applicable DoD guidance.
