About this file

This is an attachment containing site pictures and requirements for Well 3 at Shaw AFB, detailing equipment upgrades and modifications needed. The images show the current stripper level sensor system that requires replacement with a single ultrasonic or radar level sensor mounted on a new 4" PVC pipe, which must be marked with High High Level, High Level, Low Level, and Low Low Level indicators and include heat tracing. The main well motor is shown with a NEMA Premium rating, and electrical cabinets with VFD that must be returned to 20th CES. The contractor must demolish certain cabinets and attached conduit while preserving fiber connections, install a small drop-down wall-mounted table for water sampling, and verify supply voltage for the new main motor VFD.

The attachment also provides example graphics showing desired HMI display layouts for monitoring tower levels and motor status, specifying a preference for gray backgrounds over black. These displays must be implemented for each well and tower, showing real-time operational status with motor indicators in green when running. The contractor must integrate these displays into the SCADA system, allowing for level sensor calibration through the HMI by setting high-high and low-low levels during water level adjustments.
