1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES / GENERAL INFORMATION. The contractor shall provide all management, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and labor necessary for removal and disposal of existing rack system and provide and install high density shelving Material Supply Inventory Replenish System for the 59th

Medical Operations Group (59 MDOG), JBSA Lackland, TX 78236. The high density shelving system shall be installed at the Wilford Hall Ambulatory Surgical Center (WHASC) as described in paragraph 1.1 of this SOW. This is for a turnkey project to include all cabling, connectors, hardware, and installation. All equipment shall be delivered at time of install. No drop shipping is permitted.

Background. The contractor shall provide new high density shelving, the Kanban two-bin system, designed to provide for inventory replenishment system to provide 100% utilization of medicine storage space (Room 1L-021), daily inventory counting, and consistent replenishment quantities. 5% stock-outs is acceptable, the Government prefer zero stock-outs. To minimize the impact of these deficiencies and improve service to the clinical staff, a change in the receipt and delivery of consumable supplies is planned. The required system is a 2-bin Kanban system to support consumable supplies.

Scope. To improve the inventory replenishment system in 59 MDOG by outfitting Room 1L-021 with a high density shelving system. The majority of the shelving will be configured for a 2-bin Kanban process. The project consists of two overall requirements: (1) deliver and install high density shelving which can be easily adjusted to accommodate various sizes of consumable products used in an inpatient hospital and outpatient clinics, and (2) install new shelving.

The 2-bin Kanban system shall operate as follows:

The primary location for the stock-keeping unit (SKU) shall be replenished only when the bin becomes empty.

The secondary location will be used as backup until the primary bin is replenished.

At the time of restocking, the Government Representative shall be responsible for rotating inventory from the secondary location to the primary location.

1.1. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES. This is a one-time system integration project at WHASC, Room No. 1L-021 with one (1) each high density shelving Material Supply Inventory Replenish System. The supplies are listed in para.

1.1.1.2. All pathways and power will be provided by the Government. The contractor shall provide one (1) separate schematic drawings with their quote to ensure it meets the intent and scope of the project. Schematic drawings shall be for high density shelving Material Supply Inventory Replenish System.

These locations are described as follows:

1.1.1. Family Emergency Center, Acute Care Flight, 59 MDOG WHASC

Bldg. 4554 - Room 1L-021

1.1.1.1. Removal/Disposal. The contactor shall remove the existing wire shelving and plastic bins. The contractor shall transport, deliver, and relocate to a storage location (location to be determined by the Government

Representative).

1.1.1.1.1. Supply Room Material in Excess of Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR). The Contractor shall be responsible to remove the supplies in excess of PAR values (as identified by the Government Representative) from the supply rooms/departments to a central storage location (location to be determined by the Government Representative).

The Contractor is not responsible for ownership of the supply items. The contractor shall return excess items to the

Government for disposal process.

1.1.1.2. Delivery/Installation. The contractor shall provide products as configured below. This requirement has been reviewed and contains no services that are inherently governmental functions. All services are strictly non-personal in nature. All equipment is required to be new equipment. The high density shelving Material Supply

Inventory Replenish System shall consist of:
