GENERAL NOTES

1. Where possible, leave a minimum of 72 inches between bollards and buildings to allow mowers to pass. When a conflict exists, notify VA COR for direction.

2.Plans do not show existing trees. Contractor to verify existing conditions including existing trees and vegetation.

Electrical conduit should be routed around existing trees.

3. Bollards shall be evenly spaced at no more than 5 feet on center. Bollards shall be 3.5 feet minimum distance from transformers and switches they protect.

4. Contractor shall hire private utility locater to locate utilities prior to any digging or trenching.

5.Where grass is disturbed by any construction activity, it shall be re-established under this contract.

6. Areas identified as pavement on drawings are not limited to only the areas identified. The areas identified are believed to be pertinent to where directional boring will be needed.
