Section L, Annex L2
Annex L2: Department of Mechanical Engineering (DFME), CAStLE Applied Mechanics Laboratory Equipment
INTRODUCTION
Below is an equipment list for the Center for Aircraft Structural Life Extension (CAStLE) Applied Mechanics Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DFME). This list is current as of July 2020 and is subject to change as new equipment is purchased and existing equipment reaches the end of its economic service life. The list is grouped into several general categories.
The equipment on this list is available for use by cadets and faculty, and is typically available for use by on-site contractors acting in a mentoring/education/training role with cadets. All equipment is subject to use prioritization with cadet curriculum requirements having the highest priority. Faculty research requirements hold the next highest priority.
