The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park has a requirement for janitorial services at the Yosemite Medical Clinic located at 9000 Ahwahnee Drive, Yosemite National Park, CA 95389. Yosemite National Park (YNP) manages the operation of an approximately 7,500
sq. ft. medical clinic. The clinic is in a rural portion of central California within the Sierra Nevada Mountain range with the closest town approximately 1.25 hours away in Mariposa.
YNP’s Medical Services Program requires a contract for janitorial services for the medical clinic building which comprises the medical clinic operation and offices of emergency services staff. The overall responsibility of the Contractor is to coordinate, plan, manage, and perform the activities described herein, which are required to maintain high quality health standards and appearance for the clinic facility.

The Contractor shall furnish all supervision, personnel, materials, tools, labor, supplies, equipment, and services, except as may be expressly set forth as Government furnished (Section 5.0) and otherwise do all things necessary to perform the work efforts described in this Performance Work Statement. As a performance-based contract, the requirements are stated in terms of desired results with associated quality standards. Desired results will be specified by task. Contractor shall determine how much labor is needed to perform the tasks, and what methods will be used to complete the job. The government shall evaluate the contractor’s performance under this contract in accordance with the Quality Assurance Surveillance Plan. This plan primarily focuses on what the Government must do to ensure that the contractor has performed in accordance with the performance standards. It defines how the performance standards will be applied, the frequency of surveillance, and the minimum acceptable deviance.
The estimated square footage and floor plan showing locations for the building are listed in Appendix A. The Government's estimate of square footage represents the Government's best estimate of the actual square footage of designated areas. The Contractor shall notify the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO) in writing when actual conditions or actual measurements differ from those provided by the government. If the Contractor does not inform the COR and CO of differing conditions, the government shall not be responsible for any additional cost that may be incurred by the Contractor. The Contractor will be notified by the COR if a facility undergoes renovations, which prevent the contractor from performing cleaning duties.
The Contractor shall immediately inform the COR or the site supervisor (contact information will be provided) if and when the building is not accessible or unsafe to enter to perform their services.
