About this file
This document details the salient characteristics for a USAFA Cadet Dolly, dated 24 June 2024. The dolly is specified to be 18" x 30" with 3" diameter hard-tread, non-marking, permanently-affixed swivel casters capable of carrying a minimum of 200 lbs. The design features a four-rail wooden construction with smooth, non-splintering finished wood surfaces and carpeted ends, providing a professional and safe appearance.
Shipping requirements stipulate that stacks, including the pallet, shall not exceed 7' in height. The dollies will be palletized to prevent wheel damage during offloading from freight trucks. The casters' four bolts are designated as the rails' primary fasteners and must be recessed in the wood to prevent interference with the dolly's top surface. The document includes an image of the dolly, showing a wooden frame with gray carpet-covered ends and black swivel casters, positioned on a surface with an emblem.
