About this file

This document is Attachment 1 to Solicitation FA520926Q0059 containing salient characteristics for an air compressor upgrade at Building 530, Yokota Air Base, Japan, dated March 10, 2026.

The solicitation requires two distinct air compressor systems. The first is a mobile air compressor of type DDTR25 or equal, measuring 200" x 90" x 105" and weighing 8,400 lbs. This unit features high gloss powder coat paint, hydraulic surge brakes with breakaway actuator, two ASME air storage cylinders, formed structural steel frame by BAUER, Hypalon type cover protection, telescoping light mast with four 500-watt fixtures and 7,500-watt auxiliary generator, spare tire and wheel chocks, and four-bank dual function cascade controls. The mobile compressor operates on three-phase electrical power rated at 200-220V 50/60 Hz with diesel/electric dual drive system and automatic belt tensioning. Safety features include audible alarm on shutdown and automatic condensate drain with non-corrosive reservoir and float sensor. The second system is a stationary breathing air purification compressor, BAUER breathing air purification system with SECURUS or equal, designed for 6,000 PSI with 25.2 SCFM charging rate. This unit measures 101" x 38" x 78" and weighs 4,350-4,550 lbs, featuring sound-attenuating enclosure, programmable logic controller with 7-inch color touchscreen, four ASME code-stamped air cylinders in integral rack, three-phase 200-220V 50/60 Hz power, NEMA 4 rated electrical enclosure with UL-listed control panel, and comprehensive safety devices including low oil pressure and high temperature shutdowns. The contractor is required to deliver both units to Yokota Air Base and perform operational testing and product orientation for the mobile unit, and removal of existing equipment with installation of the new stationary unit at Building 530. Delivery address is 374th Civil Engineer Squadron/CEF, Building 530, Yokota Air Base, Fussa-shi Tokyo 197-0001.
