About this file

This is a Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM) Bulk Asbestos Analysis Report from Micro Analytical Services, Inc. for Cherokee Nation 35, LLC, analyzing samples from Building 1441 at Fort Bliss, Texas. The report covers 12 samples collected on 04/10/2025 and analyzed on 04/17/2025, including black fibrous roof shingles, black fibrous penetrations, and off-white non-fibrous duct mastic. Notably, none of the samples tested positive for asbestos.

The analysis was conducted using EPA-approved methods for asbestos detection, specifically EPA - 40 CFR Appendix E to Subpart E of Part 763 and EPA - 600/R-93/116. The laboratory is accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program (NVLAP) with Lab Code 200618-0 and holds a Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) License No. 30-0341. The samples were examined using polarized light microscopy with dispersion staining, and the results indicate various non-asbestos constituents such as aggregate, fibrous glass, asphalt, mastic, and cellulose.
