Mission Role Variant Capability Description
Transformational Capability (Listed in blue) Definition: Solution(s) that differ significantly in form, function, and/or operation from fielded capability solution(s). This may address gaps associated with a new mission, describe breakout capability solution(s) that offer significant improvement in capability, or transform the ways of accomplishing a mission.
MRVs designed to support platoon formation capability consisting of top 6 variants
ARV-C4UAS
Crew: (2) - driver, VC Payload: (5) –Based on role as Plt, FST, CLIC, or Battle Staff vic.
Sensor: Organic Group 2 UAS, Masted sensor (EO/IR), Tethered sUAS, RF Lethality: EW C-UAS (MODI II-like), MMG
-This Base Variant provides the networked communication and work station space for mobile C2, information processing, and long range UAS sensing.
-Mast for all weather enhanced communications and long range visual detection.
-Tethered sUAS for longer range communication and force protection.
ARV-30
Crew: (3) - driver, VC, gunner Payload: (4) - RAS controller, 2 x scouts, one enabler Sensor: sUAS (VTOL, 10 km range), EOIR, audible Lethality: EW C-UAS (MODI II-like), ATGM, 30mm, MMG
-Provides mobile protected firepower for the formation and dismounted scouts.
-LOS Javelin-like ATGM (Threshold), BLOS Spike II-like ATGM (Objective).
-Programmable Air-Burst Munition (PABM) capable medium caliber cannon.
-Organic sUAS with dedicated control station and operator providing extended sensor reach.
ARV-OPF
Crew: (2) - driver, VC Payload: (2) – Loitering Munition Operators Sensor: Optionally tethered sUAS or Telescopic Mast Lethality: NLT (4-8) ready rds, (8-12) stowed rds, EW C-UAS, MMG
-This variant provides BLOS fire support to formation out to 40 kms, C-Recon., modular OPF payloads capability (surface attack, EW, recon, retrans) in the littorals.
-The UAS or Mast is designed to provide LOS telemetry to Loitering Munition.
-Other payloads (Camera/Retrans) may be allocated to optionally tethered sUAS or Mast.
ARV-CUAS
Crew: (2) - driver, VC Payload: (4) – 2 x specialists, 2 x scouts Sensor: 360-degree, ground/air radar or node to MADIS Lethality: EW C-UAS and Hardkill C-UAS, MMG
