About this file

This Statement of Work (SOW) details a contract for replacement and repair of weapons racks at the Security Forces Armory, Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. The project requires the contractor to provide and install 20 new Spacesaver Universal Weapons Racks (16 at 45" high and 4 at 61" high), cut and remove existing racks, transfer existing rack accessories, and inspect and repair 3-Spoke Handles. The work must be completed within 7 days, with the government providing temporary storage for weapons during the replacement. The contractor must comply with Malmstrom AFB security regulations and deliver fully installed functional weapon racks, replaced handles, and a final report documenting work performed. The government intends to sole-source the contract to Spacesaver Corporation, the Original Equipment Manufacturer, citing their specialized knowledge and expertise required for proper system integration and to mitigate potential risks associated with using a non-OEM vendor.
