About this file

This is an Architectural Statement of Qualifications form issued by Lanier County, Georgia, for the selection of an architectural firm to provide pre- and post-award services for community and economic development projects. The county seeks an architect to deliver comprehensive services including preliminary architectural reports, planning, design, cost estimating, bidding, contracting, construction oversight, quality control, and project closeout. The selection will be based on firm qualifications as they relate to community and economic development needs. The form requires respondents to demonstrate their ability to meet a draft Preliminary Architectural Report (PAR) deadline of no later than 30 days after selection and to provide final plans and specifications within a specified timeframe following Notice of Award.

Architectural firms must address pricing for design, bid phase, and inspection services, as well as any separate fees for preliminary architectural reports. Applicants should demonstrate prior experience with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (CDBG) program and provide three professional references. The contract opportunity is subject to federal and state provisions prescribed by the Georgia DCA and may involve multiple funding sources including CDBG Annual Competition, CDBG Disaster Recovery, Employee Incentive Program, Redevelopment Fund, and Immediate Threat and Danger funds. This is a Section 3 Covered Contract under the HUD Act of 1968, and Lanier County is committed to Affirmatively Further Fair Housing. Successful selection could provide the firm with opportunities to deliver architectural services for future community and economic development projects for a limited time period contingent on grant funding.
