About this file
This is a Request for Statements of Qualifications (RFSQ) issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation for as-needed aquatic weed and algae growth control services at multiple county lake facilities. The RFSQ aims to establish a Master Agreement consolidating all aquatic growth control services under a single contractor. A mandatory Contractor's Conference will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at The Arboretum of Los Angeles County, Palm Room, located at 301 North Baldwin Avenue, Arcadia, California 91007. Statements of Qualifications must be submitted no later than 12:00 noon on Tuesday, October 16, 2018, to the County of Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, Contracts Division, 1000 South Fremont Avenue, Unit #40, Building A-9 West, 2nd Floor, Alhambra, California 91803. A contact list for scheduling site visits will be provided at the conference.
Minimum contractor qualifications include possession of a valid California Pest Control Business License, an Agricultural Pest Control Advisor License (Category E), and a Qualified Applicator's License (Category F), along with a minimum of three years of experience in aquatic weed and algae growth control services within the last five years. Statements of Qualifications received after the initial submission deadline will be evaluated following the execution of initial Master Agreements. The RFSQ document and registration information are available on the County's website.
