About this file

This file is a Data Privacy and Security Agreement (DPSA) Exhibits A and B worksheet prepared by Prince George's County Public Schools (PGCPS) in Maryland for vendor completion. The document serves as a working template for collaborative discussion between vendors and PGCPS to establish data handling requirements and security standards before final agreement signature. Exhibit A Part 1 requires vendors to complete a comprehensive Data Schedule identifying all data fields—including student assessment data, attendance records, disciplinary information, demographics, enrollment status, special indicators, contact information, identifiers, and user data—that will be stored, processed, accessed, or used in providing services. For each data element, vendors must designate whether the field is required, optional, or not used; specify if data will be used at individual or aggregated levels; and provide a clear purpose linked to student learning or system security, in compliance with Maryland law (MD 4-131) which prohibits use of student data for non-educational profiling or commercial gain.

Exhibit A Part 2 requires vendors to identify applicable third-party security reviews and certifications, including SOC 2 Type 2, SOC 2 Type 1, ISO 27001 Certificate with Statement of Applicability, independent audit reports, or custom security standard documentation, with copies of reports less than 18 months old required if applicable. Exhibit B mandates completion of a Subprocessor List identifying all currently approved subprocessors with complete field information. Vendors must submit the completed spreadsheet with their DPSA response, after which PGCPS will review each required or optional field and indicate acceptance, decline, pending status, or not applicable. PGCPS will contact vendors regarding any pending items requiring discussion, and the finalized Exhibit A will be incorporated into the official PDF version of the DPSA prior to final vendor signature.
