About this file
This document is an appendix to a state and local contract opportunity issued by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS). The contract seeks to obtain competitive bids for the outright purchase and delivery of pure specialty/liquid and industrial gases to be used in the various Department laboratories located throughout the state. The appendix outlines the required specifications for ultrapure carrier gases including helium, hydrogen, nitrogen, and air, as well as oxygen. Minimum purity levels, cylinder contents, and cylinder valve outlet requirements are detailed for each gas type. The state and local contract opportunity has a Florida state-wide scope, with the specific jurisdictions of Leon County and the City of Tallahassee included.
The contract opportunity has been revised through two addenda, with changes made to the timeline and the price sheet. Vendors must submit the revised price sheet attachment with their bid submissions. No other details are provided regarding the pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding sources, or award criteria for this contract opportunity.
