About this file
This document contains a draft solicitation for sustainment modernization services and personal protective equipment guidelines. The draft solicitation from the U.S. Army's DEVCOM Data Analysis Center seeks industry feedback on requirements for sustainment modernization services but does not constitute an active bid opportunity. Interested parties are requested to submit any questions, comments or feedback on the draft solicitation to the identified Army contracting officer by February 21, 2023.
The appendix outlines personal protective equipment guidelines for personnel interacting with the Ebola virus disease, categorizing protective equipment needs into three risk levels based on anticipated exposure. Level 0 equipment is to be carried by all personnel at all times for low risk of exposure. Level 1 equipment includes Level 0 items and is for low risk personnel. Level 2 equipment incorporates Levels 0 and 1 and is for medium risk personnel who may contact the virus. Level 3 equipment includes all lower levels and is for high risk personnel directly treating or handling Ebola virus disease samples and medical waste.
