About this file

This is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist for the State of Colorado's Thermal Opportunity Mapping contract opportunity. The checklist establishes digital accessibility requirements that vendors must address during their proposal submissions. Vendors are required to answer five key questions regarding their accessibility capabilities and commitments: whether they maintain an accessibility statement of commitment regarding digital accessibility; whether their documents and digital content will comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA standards, including PDF/UA compliance for PDF documents; what methods they use to assess compliance with WCAG 2.1 A/AA and PDF/UA standards, such as automated tools, manual testing, or screen reader software like JAWS; whether they can provide compliance reports for products they create; and contact information for the individual responsible for addressing accessibility questions.

The checklist emphasizes that all deliverables must meet applicable and achievable WCAG 2.1 success criteria and PDF/UA standards for compliance with accessibility requirements. Vendors are directed to reference the Vendor Accessibility Guide and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 for detailed information on meeting these standards. This accessibility assessment is a mandatory component of vendor evaluation, requiring responses that demonstrate compliance capabilities and commitment to delivering accessible digital products and content to the State.
