About this file
This file is a Vendor Accessibility Checklist for the Building Performance CO Database Management Administration contract opportunity in Colorado. The checklist establishes accessibility compliance requirements for vendors providing documents or digital content to the State. Vendors must address five key questions regarding their accessibility practices: whether they maintain an accessibility commitment statement; whether their deliverables will meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level A and AA success criteria and PDF/UA compliance standards; what assessment methods they employ to verify compliance, including automated tools, manual testing, and screen reader software such as JAWS or CommonLook; their ability to provide compliance reports for created products; and contact information for the individual responsible for addressing accessibility questions within their organization.
The checklist does not specify pricing terms, contract duration, set-asides, incumbent information, or funding sources. Rather, it functions as a qualification requirement for vendors to demonstrate their capacity and commitment to delivering accessible digital products and documents. The document directs vendors to the Vendor Accessibility Guide and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 as reference resources for understanding and implementing required accessibility standards.
