About this file

This document is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the U.S. Department of the Navy (DoN) Office of Naval Research-Global (ONRG) for the Technology Operational Experimentation Events (TOEE) 25.1 experimentation series focused on Expeditionary Medicine.

The RFI seeks innovative solutions to increase the effectiveness of tactical triage, damage control resuscitation, damage control surgery, casualty holding, and casualty evacuation for Naval medical units operating in austere, communications-limited environments as part of Expeditionary Advanced Bases (EABs) and Advanced Naval Bases (ANBs). The RFI outlines three mission objectives: 1) Increase capacity of prolonged casualty care and patient care in EAB environments, 2) Improve casualty evacuation within EAB environments, and 3) Increase ability of forward EAB elements to provide trauma care. Relevant NAICS and PSC codes are provided. The RFI requests submissions in the form of a quad chart and white paper by September 30, 2024. Selected technologies will participate in a Limited Technical Assessment, Limited Objective Experiment, and potentially an Advanced Capability Experiment in FY2025, for which the government may provide funding support.
