About this file
The document is an Appendix B file detailing 26 distinct data feeds and interfaces for the Tennessee Court Management System (TnCIS), involving multiple state agencies including the Administrative Office of the Courts, Department of Correction, Department of Revenue, Department of Safety, Tennessee Bureau of Investigations, and various local county offices. The interfaces cover a wide range of judicial and administrative functions, including monthly and nightly data exchanges for civil filings, criminal charges, dispositions, expungements, mental health monitoring, tax information, driver's license actions, jury management, victim notifications, and specialized registries tracking felony convictions, animal abuse, and elder abuse. The data exchanges utilize various formats including CSV, Fixed Length, SQL, API, and JSON, with varying frequencies from daily to yearly, and support both statewide and local court management processes.
The interfaces represent a comprehensive digital ecosystem supporting Tennessee's judicial system, with integration complexity ranging from simple to complex across different state and local agencies. Most interfaces are mandated by specific Tennessee state statutes, demonstrating a structured approach to data sharing and judicial record management. The system supports critical functions such as electronic ticket processing, court cost tracking, driver's license suspension notifications, and specialized reporting for juvenile cases, indigent defense, and various criminal registries. While no specific budget is detailed, the document suggests a sophisticated, multi-agency technological infrastructure designed to enhance efficiency, improve data accuracy, and facilitate seamless information exchange across Tennessee's judicial ecosystem.
