About this file

This document is an appendix containing annual inspection and recertification criteria for JLG Boom Lifts. It serves as a template or reference standard rather than a solicitation document and does not address specific products, services, pricing, or contract terms.

The appendix outlines eighteen inspection categories (Items A through R) that must be evaluated during annual inspection and recertification of JLG Boom Lifts. Inspections cover critical operational systems including controls and functions, ground-level controls, chain and cable mechanisms, guards, lubrication and fluids, structural and critical components, placards and decals, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, tires, wheel fasteners, lighting, batteries, drive and steering systems, alarms, and communication systems. Additionally, the criteria require verification of manufacturer registration and confirmation that any open safety-related manufacturer bulletins have been addressed and resolved as part of the inspection process. This comprehensive checklist ensures equipment safety, functionality, and compliance with operational standards.
