About this file
Appendix A details the annual inspection and maintenance requirements for the ACE3 System at McGuire and Lakehurst Systems. The document outlines comprehensive preventive maintenance (PM) tasks for the Airfield Lighting Control System (ALCS) network, including technical specifications for system checks and updates.
Key maintenance activities include computer node inspections, software and firmware version updates, communication system tests, UPS testing, network diagnostics, touchscreen calibrations, radio testing, and AGLAS system review. The contractor is required to perform comprehensive communication reliability testing, re-configuration tasks, repeater analysis, database cleanup, input/output data review, and local user training if necessary. The maintenance process involves updating firmware on PC boards, providing latest system executable files, and conducting diagnostics on network hard drives and communication systems, with instructions to follow additional repair protocols if deficiencies are identified during the maintenance cycle.
