About this file
This is a cost breakdown template for a construction project solicitation. Solicitation FA302226R0002 is issued by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command for the repair of a kiddie pool located at Columbus Air Force Base in Building 948 (B948). The kiddie pool, originally constructed in the early 1960s with modifications in the 1990s and 2010s, requires repairs to address fiberglass leaks at the perimeter where the basin meets the concrete deck, an undersized skimmer that restricts water flow to jets and sprayers, and an undersized deck drainage channel. The template requires vendors to submit detailed pricing organized by cost categories including bonds and insurance, mobilization, architecture and engineering design (at 35%, 65%, 95%, and 100% completion levels), materials, equipment, labor hours, miscellaneous charges, and Mississippi state tax. Vendors must provide vendor information (name, address, phone, email, NAICS code, CAGE code), proposed period of performance, number of days the proposal is valid, and supporting documentation justifying the reasonableness of all proposed costs. A mandatory site visit is scheduled for May 26, 2026 at 9:00 AM CST, with registration required by May 18, 2026. Access to drawings and CUI-controlled documentation requires completion of CUI training and approval via SAM.gov.

| GENERAL INFORMATION |
| The purpose of the requested information in the attached worksheets is to assist government personnel in the review and evaluation of proposals submitted by offerors. Offerors are reminded that the responsibility for providing adequate supporting data and attachments lies solely with them. Further, the offeror must also bear the burden of proof in establishing reasonableness of proposed pricing; therefore, it is in the offeror’s best interest to submit a fully supportable and well-prepared cost proposal that reflects the total cost of the project. The basis and rationale for all proposed costs should be provided as part of the proposal so that Government personnel can place reliance on the information as current, complete and accurate. |
