1). The beginning of work areas are marked on the ground by wood stakes with the work area number written upon them. Leave all stakes in place until such time that the work is accepted by the Government.

Should a stake be missing, notify the Government for replacement prior to the commencement of work in that area.

2). The work areas value shown is approximate feet from the beginning of the project or as referenced.

3). The Minimum Aggregate Surfacing Depth shown is the depth after placement and light compaction.

4). The quantities of steps shown for Types CS are estimates given for the contractors convenience only. The actual quantities may vary and the contractor is responsible for verifying the actual quantities.

7). STA 0+00 to 6+39 is on natural tread or existing trail. STA 0+00 is at Cathedral Falls.

STA 6+39 to 7+50 is a reroute with new trail construction.

STA 7+50 to 13+34 is a reroute on old abandoned trail bed.

STA 13+34 to 16+09 is resurfacing existing trail. STA 16+09 is at Parking.
