About this file

This is a Bid Form (Appendix A) for the City of Newport, Oregon's Cathodic Protection Repairs and Upgrades project. The invitation to bid seeks a qualified contractor to perform cathodic protection repairs and upgrades at specified facilities. The scope of work is limited to facilities and corrective actions that are sufficiently defined to support competitive, lump-sum bidding. The form establishes the framework for contractors to submit pricing proposals for the identified cathodic protection work, with the competitive bidding process designed to ensure cost-effectiveness and contractor qualifications.

The bid form serves as the standardized submission document for interested contractors responding to this municipal project. Specific details regarding response deadlines, site visit requirements, bidders' meetings, award dates, contract terms, pricing structure, and any special conditions or set-asides would be contained within the complete bid package and related solicitation documents. Contractors are expected to provide comprehensive lump-sum bids for all identified cathodic protection repairs and upgrades as outlined in the associated scope of work.
