About this file

This document outlines four federal construction projects at Tinian International Airport in the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. The projects include construction of a cargo pad and taxiway extension, fuel tanks and a receipt pipeline and hydrant system, airfield development of roads, and a maintenance support facility.

The cargo pad and taxiway extension will be constructed using Portland cement concrete and will include connections to the runway and taxiways, lighting, markings, utilities, and a cargo staging area. The fuel tank project involves construction of aboveground storage tanks totaling 160,000 barrels, pipelines, pumps, truck fill stands, and related facilities. The airfield development component involves repair and improvement of the haul route from the seaport to the airfield. The maintenance support facility will be designed to withstand winds up to 190 miles per hour and seismic zone 3 criteria.

The solicitation number is N62742-22-R-1306 and has an anticipated value between $100-250 million. The completion period is 1,250 calendar days. A site visit is scheduled for January 12, 2022 and offerors must submit an APACS form by December 13, 2021 to attend. Technical evaluation factors include experience, past performance, safety, and management plan. The North American Industry Classification System code is 237120.
