About this file
The document is an Antiterrorism Awareness pamphlet for contractors working at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey. The trifold document provides guidance for contractors on recognizing and reporting potential terrorist threats, with a focus on situational awareness and suspicious activity identification. Key elements include defining terrorism, outlining what to look for (such as unauthorized surveillance, unfamiliar vehicles, and suspicious behaviors), and providing emergency contact information for the 87th Security Forces Squadron.
The pamphlet details Force Protection Conditions (FPCON) levels from Normal to Delta, explaining increased security measures at each stage. It instructs contractors to be alert to their surroundings, recognize official organizations, and report suspicious activities by calling (609) 754-6001. The document emphasizes that contractors are "Force Multipliers" who can help maintain security vigilance and report activities that might affect the base community and surrounding area. Emergency contact numbers are provided for both landline (91-1) and cell phone (609) 754-6001 on the JB MDL base.
