The document addresses three questions regarding technical specifications for the requested sweepers, including the acceptance of a single speed axle with a 6.43 ratio, a horizontal exhaust system, and a 23,000 lbs 52" variable rate multi-leaf spring suspension. The state has indicated that it will accept the vendor's recommended alternatives for these specifications.

The contract opportunity specifies that the equipment must be new and that used, refurbished, demo, prototype, or gray market equipment will not be accepted. The contract is a one-time purchase, and no further details are provided regarding pricing terms, set-asides, incumbents, funding requirements, or sources.
