About this file
This document contains answers to questions regarding Request for Response (RFR) No. 19DPUSGAMY4 for Consultant Services Related to a Statewide Assessment of Gas Pipeline Safety conducted on behalf of the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU). The RFR seeks a third-party evaluator to independently examine the safety and integrity of the Commonwealth's gas distribution system statewide and provide recommendations for improvements. The document clarifies that having existing service contracts with gas companies or employing former gas company employees would not preclude vendors from being awarded this work, though potential conflicts of interest would be considered during the bid evaluation. Vendors are directed to refer to the RFR posted on COMMBUYS for the full instructions and requirements.
The document does not provide details on pricing terms, set asides, funding sources, or other salient commercial information. It solely focuses on addressing specific vendor questions about the scope and eligibility criteria for participating in the statewide gas pipeline safety assessment project for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
