Annual Program Statement (APS) Synopsis - APS No. 7200AA18APS00002;
Round 1 closing date: March 9, 2018, Round 2 closing date: October 19, 2018
This APS, entitled Cooperative Development Program (CDP) is a mechanism through which
USAID will maximize development impact and efficient resource use by mobilizing the creative capacity of cooperative Development Organizations (CDOs0)
This APS offers USAID Operating Units an easy-to-use mechanism to facilitate access to CDOs across any sector while upholding U.S. foreign policy objectives of promoting national security, advancing American values, and supporting global prosperity and self-reliance. It is designed to support a process through which organizations can work with USAID to achieve development impact via:
1-Cooperative business performance improved
2-Improved cooperative enabling environment
3-Development community’s support to cooperatives enhance.
This APS encouraged improved coordination among partners and seeks activities for improved design and implementation of cooperative development programing.
This is APS is not a Request for Applications or a Request for Proposals.
Concept papers must conform to the requirements outlined in Attachment A and procedures outlined in Section IV. Concept papers must be submitted via email to the appropriate OU and to cdp-aps@usaid.gov .
