About this file

This document is Addendum No. 1 for the ANK New Fuel Farm project at the Salida Airport - Harriet Alexander Field, issued by Dibble engineering firm on February 10, 2025. The addendum provides updated bid schedule pages and includes pre-bid conference minutes for a new airport fuel farm construction project. The base bid involves site preparation and installation of two 12,000-gallon double-wall fuel tanks for Jet-A and AVGAS, including a self-service over-wing dispensing skid, aboveground piping, containment measures, and electrical infrastructure. The project will be locally funded by Chaffee County, the City of Salida, CDOT Aeronautics, and a DOLA grant. The bid is scheduled to be received electronically through BidNet Direct by 2:00 PM (MT) on February 25, 2025, with an anticipated contract award within 90 calendar days.

The project is divided into multiple phases, including civil site work, fueling infrastructure installation, and potential removal of existing fuel tanks as an alternate bid. Each phase has specific liquidated damages of $500 per day for missed completion timelines. The total project time is estimated at approximately 169 calendar days, including phases for site preparation, pavement construction, tank installation, system commissioning, and optional existing infrastructure removal. Bidders are required to submit comprehensive documentation, including a bid bond of 5% of the total bid, and must include all applicable state, local, and county taxes in their unit prices. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining necessary permits, including an OPS Installation Permit and local fire department notifications, with all associated permitting costs considered incidental to the project.

Answer: Yes, the Airport will work with the Contractor on the Construction NTP timing, pending delivery of the fuel tank equipment. The Administrative NTP will be used to get the

Pre-Bid Conference Minutes ANK New Fuel Farm Page 6

Contractor under contract and allow for the procurement of equipment. Once equipment is ordered, the Contractor will provide the Airport with the information regarding equipment lead times and shipment dates. This information will then be used for the timing of the issuance of the Construction NTP.

e. Question: Can the Contractor work on different phases concurrently?

Answer: Yes, the Contractor will have the opportunity to work on different phases concurrently. The contract time for each phase of work will still be tracked separately.

f. Question: Is there a Final Completion date that is required to be met by?
