About this file
This is an Amendment #1 Questions and Answers document for RFP 2026-UWMSN-01305-RFP issued by the University of Wisconsin-Madison for food delivery services to support its dining hall operations. The amendment addresses a vendor inquiry regarding the use of third-party technology partners to fulfill RFP requirements. The University of Wisconsin-Madison clarified that it is open to vendors partnering with third parties, such as Grubhub Campus, to meet the RFP specifications outlined in Sections 3.5 and 3.8 regarding application-based services. However, the vendor bears full responsibility for coordinating with any third-party service provider and must submit a combined response that demonstrates how all RFP requirements will be satisfied. Proposals were due May 13, 2026, with the RFP posting issued April 23, 2026, providing approximately three weeks for proposal preparation and submission.
The amendment does not disclose pricing terms, contract value, contract term, or renewal options. No set-asides, incumbent contractors, or current service provider information is referenced in this amendment. The procurement appears open to all qualified vendors capable of meeting the specified requirements. Questions regarding the RFP must be directed to Trisha Wilson at tawilson2@wisc.edu, and all proposals must be submitted online through the ShopUW+ portal at https://bids.sciquest.com/apps/Router/PublicEvent?CustomerOrg=UWisconsin.

AMENDMENT #1
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS FOR 2026-UWMSN-01305-RFP
(Food Delivery for the UW-Madison Dining Halls)
Q.1. Avride operates the most advanced, most reliable and safest delivery robot solution for college campuses. However, we do not provide frontend user experience via app; we are a robot provider and we rely on dining industry experts to provide the application. We would love the opportunity to deploy our industry leading delivery robot solution at Wisconsin, but it would require the university to utilize Grubhub's Campus solution for all app related services. In the RFP, Section 3.5 and 3.8 speak directly to the services provided by the app, and I have full confidence that Grubhub's solution could satisfy all requirements.
Question:
· 1. Is there an appetite for using the Grubhub Campus solution for the required app?
· 2. If so, how would you recommend I complete the aforementioned sections, 3.5 and 3.8.
A.1 We are open to the option of Avride working with a third party, such as Grub Hub Campus, to meet the requirements of the RFP. However, it is their responsibility to coordinate with the third party and submit a combined response.
