About this file

This document is an amendment to a previous procurement notice (CPO Notice 2022.05) from the Central Management Services Bureau of Strategic Sourcing for the State of Illinois. The amendment recognizes that subsequent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23 supersede a prior Executive Order and extend the date that certain contractors must become vaccinated against COVID-19. The amended COVID-19 Protections clause requires vendors to adhere to the vaccination or testing requirements outlined in the Executive Orders, which may also be supplemented by additional requirements from the procuring agency.

The amended notice directs all agencies to include the updated COVID-19 Protections clause in all solicitations, regardless of procurement method, including those already published on the state's procurement platform BidBuy. This clause will become a contractual term for the awarded vendors. The notice provides links to the full text of the relevant Executive Orders for additional reference.
