About this file

This document is an amendment to a prior CPO (Chief Procurement Officer) Notice 2022.05 regarding COVID-19 protection requirements for certain state contractors in Illinois. The amendment incorporates recent Executive Orders 2021-22 and 2021-23, which supersede the previous Executive Order 2021-20 and extend the date by which affected contractors must become vaccinated. All state agencies are required to include the amended COVID-19 protection clause in their solicitations, regardless of procurement method, including those currently published on BidBuy. The clause requires vendors to adhere to the vaccination, testing, and face covering requirements set forth in the Executive Orders, and allows agencies to implement additional vaccination or testing requirements.

The related state and local contract opportunity is for IDOC (Illinois Department of Corrections) SHA (State Housing Authority) Door Controls CMR (Construction Manager at Risk). This opportunity is open only to electronic submissions, per CPO Notice 2020.06, and no paper responses will be accepted. The state of Illinois is the jurisdiction involved in this contract opportunity.
