About this file
This document is an Amendment to CPO Notice 2022.05 from the Illinois Central Management Services Bureau of Strategic Sourcing, addressing COVID-19 protection requirements for contractors. The amendment supersedes previous Executive Orders and requires all state agencies to include an updated COVID-19 Protections clause in all solicitations, regardless of procurement method. The clause mandates that vendors adhere to the requirements of the latest Executive Orders, which include the use of face coverings, COVID-19 vaccinations, or testing for contractors when working in certain public settings. Agencies may also implement vaccination or testing requirements that exceed those in the Executive Orders.
The amendment aims to ensure all potential contractors are aware of the current COVID-19 protection requirements that will be a term of the resulting contracts. This notice applies to all state and local contract opportunities published on the BidBuy procurement system.
